Bri-Chem Establishes Oilfield Chemical Testing and

EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bri-Chem Corp. (“Bri-Chem” or “Company”) (TSX: BRY ) , a leading North American wholesale distributor and manufacturer of oil and gas drilling fluids is pleased to announce that it has commissioned and opened its new drilling fluids and oilfield cementing lab and testing facility located in our Bakersfield, CA, building.  The Company now has two dedicated laboratories with one serving Western Canada located in Calgary, Alberta, and a second in Bakersfield, CA which will now service our customers throughout the USA oilfield cementing and drilling fluids industry with testing equipment, quality assurance, training, and research and analysis of critical fluids. 

Being able to offer these additional services is essential to maintaining strong customer relationships. Bri-Chem’s new analytical lab will provide testing of oilfield cementing and drilling fluids for customers for various analyses such as viscosity, fluid loss, and lubricity among others.  The laboratory can also perform customer specific analysis. Bri-Chem also periodically hosts mud schools that provide technical materials and training to sales personnel, mud engineers and others associated with the drilling fluid industry.
