I cannot say that the price action is due to a single thing, but rather I believe it's the result of many things coming together. The patent certainly helped, as did the new presentation, the quarterly being issued on time, and now we have a solid add of someone with all sorts of financial experience and contacts.
Given the timelines we've been given for running trials, don't expect news of trials being completed anytime soon, but we may learn more about them being initiated. Their is no way to say when some new partnership or other collaborative situation might be announced, but any day is a possibility.
Their is no doubt that OWCP will need funds over the next few years, our newest team member can certainly help with that, but so could new partnerships, and ultimately so should sales of products in stores where cannabis based products are legal, including perhaps State's in which it's legal, in spite of Federal law which refuses to recognize it's benefits.
While I believe that too much emphasis is placed on our Federal Govt. I believe it's only a matter of time until they get their head out of the sand. Perhaps it will take the State count where cannabis is legal to grow into the 30's, or even 40's, but Congress isn't blind to the feelings of it's constituents and they should be starting to feel the heat. I believe if Session's actually tried doing something in a State where it's legal would accelerate the process, so I welcome his interference.
In short, I believe we're in the right place at the right time with the right company.
