I did consider your point of view and I found it as dismissive as it was unsubstantiated.
And I didn't think my 'insults' were 'thinly veiled', as they were merely up to the demand. Fox News DOES purvey a phony 'war' to it's sadly credulous viewers.
Lastly, in my working life I watched and listened to the 'office water-cooler warriors' who often complained how they 'couldn't say or do anything anymore'.
I laughed to myself as I thought that these were the same guys who would be lined up outside of HR for, yes, behaving 'inappropriately'.
Being 'called out for behaving like assholes' is no less accurate for it's harshness.
