Nothing will ever have to be proven on either side

Nothing will ever have to be proven on either side of these lawsuits. We didn’t prove that they were infringing and they didn’t prove that we were infringing. We came to a settlement agreement.

I can almost guarantee you the following discussion occurred at one of their meetings:

“you know we never infringed on your patents but you infringed on ours!”

“Yeah? So what! We’re going to make you prove it and we’re going to make you pay to defend yourself for the next couple of years!”
