I will tell you what - you guys come up with some

I owned 272 acres of land with a mile river frontage on the Flint river about 60 miles south of Atlanta. It had two cabins. One built in 1904 and one built in 1905. My property was surrounded by boy scout land and Georgia Pacific pines. No running water and no electricity. My closest neighbour was over two miles away. This land is actually the foothills to the Appalachian Mtns. I normally brought down about six guys to hunt. One played guitar and one played the fiddle. In the evenings, we would cook something over an outside grille while those two guys played while sitting on the porch. The YouTube video of Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson and sons sure does bring back some of my best memories. Awesome!!!
BTW,,,that old cabin was built by a fellow named Bun Wright. Well, Henry Laguardia the mayor of New York City would drive President Franklin D. Roosevelt down so they could listen to Bun Wright play his fiddle. I was told that Bun was a cranky sort of fellow and refused to play sometimes. He would just tell the Mayor and the President that he didn't want to play and they would drive back. The reason that the President was down that way is because he visited Warm Springs, GA so he could soak his legs in the springs. He built what is known as the 'Little White House' in Warm Springs. Bun Wright's Fiddle and hat are hanging in that house. The land I owned was only about a 20 minute drive away.
