Stephen was not referring to Online Sales when he said: "All indications are that these sales volumes will continue to increase" as Online Sales is totally random and has no "Indications" of increasing sales. Online sales is only a gravy over the big potatoes which are sales to its film partners. I think he implies: "Our film partners have been selling sample QD LED Display films to major TV makers who like the films and have been repeatedly ordering more films for extensive evaluation before producing QD LED TV in multi-million units, all indications point to possible big contracts signing between our film partners and their customers".
NN Labs has been in business for a decade selling only quantum dots Online and is still striving despite of multi-million dollar annual operating expenses, so can QMC. Hope one day NN Labs will go public too giving us a second investment opportunity.
At QD price of $50/gram, may be all the OLED producers (Universal Display Corp, DowDupont ....) will be out of business. OLED is much more expensive and complicated to make then quantum dots. Surely with QMC's high production rate and low cost, it can afford to sell at $50/gram and be the lowest seller in the world, but not its competitors producing in batches.
