The company has mentioned eczema and hidradenitis suppurativa as two possible targets for Brilacidin. Those would certainly be topical applications -- you only want to hit the areas that have the problem.
When they first mentioned HS, someone, I think maybe sox?, posted a link to pictures. Not for the faint of heart -- seeing those "tunnels" and abscesses under people's arms and in, um, private areas -- must be incredibly painful. No good treatment for it, either.
