This isn't some road show investor conference, their poster presentation is entitled:
Apabetalone Downregulates Factors That Promote Vascular Calcification and Contribute to Cardiovascular Events
Presentation time is scheduled for 10:30 AM Pacific Time on November 13th, less than a week from now.
Remember the name of this drug, Apabetalone....pronounced, A-Pah-Bet-Alone, this could be a monster. Its an Epigenetic compound, and Resverlogix is years ahead in the field of Bromodomain Inhibition.
What is Epigentics? You know what Genes are I'm sure, your DNA and all that. Epi is latin and it means above. So Epigentics is the layer above the Genetic Level.
Think of Genes as the hardware, and Epigenetics as the software turning things on and off. Epigenetics involves readers, writers and erasers.
Its heavy duty science that most lay people won't have the capacity to understand...I've read tons on it and I still don't fully grasp it. But I do grasp the potential market for a drug that could provide positive outcomes for people with a whole slew of diseases like Diabetes, Cardio Vascular Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Alzheimers, Thrombosis, Fabry's Disease, Freidrich's Ataxia....and who knows how much else.
We're only just beginning to understand the effect of things like arterial calcification and the impact it has a wide range of conditions, even Bi-Polar disorder may have an arterial aspect.
Keep watching.
