this is so true. i've not been trading very long. sporadically over the last couple of years and i can tell you, 2 times i got left sitting on the bid. every other time if i would have waited, usually less than 30 minutes, i would have gotten my price or gotten in lower. long story short, you chase, you lose. the only caveat to that is if it is a company you know really well, you know how it trades, understand it's "personality" and you have an account that gives you some staying power if your entry was less than optimal. this is just been my experience. i don't consider my self a very good trader or anybody to listen to but i'm still in the game so far. all in my useless opinion.
