Sun and wind energy, how will share 50MW capacity among market operators
Albania has set its objective to increase energy production from renewable sources. In line with the National Action Plan for Renewable Energy Sources 2015-2020, which to achieve the target of 38% of total consumption of renewable energy, has foreseen the construction of photovoltaic and wind power plants, respectively total installed power of 50 MW and 30 MW.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy announced that Minister Damian Gjiknuri has approved the order specifying how the allocation of capacities will be allocated for the case of 50 MW of energy from photovoltaics.

Specifically, the amount of electricity produced by photovoltaic plants and which will benefit from the support schemes set forth in Law No. 7/2017 "On promoting the use of renewable energy sources" is divided as follows:
