Agreed, in my experience the contract goes back and forth dozens of times. A lot of line troughs and red font for requested changes from one side to the other. The need for an 8K comes in when a signature happens, there is nothing formal or official about the different iterations of the negotiation as requests are bounced back and forth. No 8K is needed or even considered. However the section that notes "the final deadline for Closing (unless another time or date is agreed to in writing by the parties)" Such an agreement "in writing" is a formality. That would imply the need for an 8K. But I can also see why they may not submit one. Hopefully its because they are very close. Waiting for funds to clear like on a house closing. I cant imagine...I'm just waiting and wondering with the rest. We will see soon enough.
