The famous ‘Oh Crap Attack’ pattern:
Know this well. Huge green day to the left of the blue box. Youre thinking, "I GOTTA BUY! THIS IS GOING THROUGH THE ROOF TOMORROW!"
... so you buy buy buy expecting it to go higher.
Next three days.. HUGE red candles (inside blue box). Now youre thinking, "OH CRAP (hence the name) THIS IS GONNA SINK! I GOTTA SELL RIGHT NOW!!! BEH!"
... so you sell sell sell expecting it to go lower.
The problem is, you bought on the high in excitement... sold on the low in fear. So now, you have a capital loss and possibly have no more money to spend.
The 'Attack' part enters the scene when, for the next month, the price skyrockets (in this example) from $3,514 to $7,500 and youre thinking, "WHY DID I DO THAT!?????? I LOST EVERYTHING IN THREE DAYS!!!"

The point to this blabbering post.... hm... what is the point? Ah yes...

3. Often times (not always), when a huge green day is followed by several red days, its simply short term investors taking profit.
4. Do NOT invest more than you can afford to lose.
5. Leave emotions at the door.
