I enjoyed that post. I took the Dainty Darling Dove kayaking last spring and we saw a number of gators, maybe twelve to fifteen. Two or three of the old swamp lizards were probably around 10 to 12 feet if I remember correctly. We paddled fairly close to them and the DDD loved every second of it. Although she has great respect for powerful critters, she's not afraid of them.
