Hardworking family guy or gal wanting to save some extra cash?..
Next time you do a load of laundry and put your clothes in the dryer, turn the heat off on the dryer during the last 5 or 10 minutes (air dry). The clothes are just about dry anyways and can use the residual heat to finish drying. I do it every time and it works. Youll just need to play with it and figure out the correct timing as every dryer is different.
Saves a couple pennies every month. Why would I bask in the glow of giving pennies to the electric company when I can invest the cash instead?
