LieHub has a TOS (terms of service) list of rules why you can be banned, but in reality they don't follow it. Lies and manipulation by bashers are par for the course, and are 100% supported by iHub. Bashers are frequently chosen as moderators for a particular stock board. They can say or do virtually anything they want, and delete anyone's posts, while regular "good guy" posters can have posts deleted or can be banned for almost any reason, especially if their posts concern the truth, which frequently goes against the basher's agenda. If they don't like what you post, they will either delete it quickly or find a way to ban you (or both).
In general the Bashers are hired by others with an agenda (hedge funds, individuals, people with grudges against the company, etc.) and paid by the post to spread lies, untruths, negativity, etc. and create a climate of fear and manipulation.
This negative climate frequently frightens new investors (especially those who just jumped in and haven't done their DD on a stock). The agenda is usually to get people to sell, so that they can benefit from a short position against the company or to get cheaper shares. Occasionally, bashers will say positive things to pump a stock, so that they can dump it when the price goes higher.
In the past, LieHub was the only game in town, which is why many investors continued to read and post there. But now we have Investor's Hangout, whose reputation is growing daily and which supports the truth, real DD and takes a no-nonsense approach to Bashers and deletes their lies and manipulation ASAP! My hope is that Investor's Hangout with real investors interested in the truth and excellent DD will someday overtake LieHub.
