Moody's Investor Service confirms AS "Citadele ban

Friday, 27 October 2017, international credit rating agency Moody's Investors service confirmed AS "Citadele banka" long term deposit rating unchanged  - Ba2, outlook: positive.

In the credit analysis, Moody’s Investors Service indicated that AS “Citadele banka” strategy is to expand its business in the three Baltic countries, away from weaker markets, and according to the Moody’s view, the banking industry structure in all three Baltic countries has improved following a wave of consolidation in recent years. Furthermore, Moody’s Investor Service states that the bank’s intrinsic credit fundamentals are improving, most notably its significantly strenghtened capitalisation and a continued improving trend in asset quality.
