I don't mind the technology evolving. It does leave us wondering when or if it will ever be ready.

What would you expect would be a reasonable length of time to assemble a final design?

I'm thinking that a final design with all parts on premises could be assembled and tested in less than a month.

Rauber answered my question at the AGM regarding how long it takes to manufacture a new system.  His answer was 5 months.  I'm not remembering if that was supposed to included assembly time, but I don't think it did.
