Absolutely correct Bazinga, in addition, they need a reason for an appeal. However, All of the 7 being taken to task wanted to wait for the ruling from the PTAB because their defense depended on the outcome. The dismissal of the IPR challenge has left them is a compromised position with no real defense. Therefore, the delay requested by StrikeForce for the purpose of being able to complete settlements for several jurisdictions says it all. The defendants realize they need to stop the bleeding while they still can and before it costs them triple!
