A cursory glance at SBIs most recent report will show the huge plans they have with Ripple and XRP.
Weak marketing? I dont think so. Again, we were never the intended use case.
Community? Ecosystem? the Japan consortium Ripple brought together via SBI created ATMs. We all use ATMs now. I think we are in good hands. I dont know what everyone uses Bitcoin for because buying things with Bitcoin kinda went in the crapper. No, Id rather see things like being able to buy things with my debit card loaded with XRP (SBI/WIREX/RIPPLE) and all the other things SBI is planning. Remember, from the SBI Report:
"Established SBI Ripple Asia in May 2016, with Ripple, to Bring About a “Remittance Revolution” in Asia" -page 104

Really look at what SBI is doing. They are not passive investors but are very proactive in bringing about this revolution.
Look at the Bill Gates Foundation partnership that was just announced. That was 2 years in the making. XRP for the 2Bn poor? what happens when 2Bn people start to buy, use, store, send receive, all with XRP? IF they each use $50 dollars a year each wouldnt the price of XRP have to be around a dollar?
what if all 100 banks decide they want to send 100 million each? What if DLOCAL decides to send all UBER drivers payment via XRP? What if the AMEX partnership is true (which Garlinghouse didnt deny)? What happens when they incorporate XRP for faster settlements? What happens also when the lock up is announced shortly before some of these go live?
Look at the interview of Microsoft's CEO on why they think XRP will be the common denominator. that interview was 2 years ago. What more has been done with Microsoft that is still probably under NDA?
So you see, you havent been marketed to. The institutional users have been marketed to.
so, with all due respect, quit your whining and buy- if you can afford to lose it all. Im betting on their partners being right. im betting on this revolution in payments, i think those leaders in banking are much smarter than myself or other bloggers.
this is not financial advice. Do your own due dilligence.
