In regards to the OOBA MFA Discussion that’s going on over on bye-bye hub ( I can’t post there cause I’ve been banned, hell yeah )
OK so I agree that STI Has the patent.
But
Like you point out the patent covers only when has the patent.
But
Like you point out the patent covers only when the there Is authentication in a second channel. Meaning as you guys point out the challenge and the response need to be in the second channel.
But most of the applications like from my bank or Google or Amazon don’t work like that. The Second factor is sent out of band To my cell phone but then I take that code and enter it back into my browser on the first channel.
So is everyone Really infringing?
