Let me put a thought out there. I know that everyone is like on Radio silence for any self imposed reason or what ever....
I for one have backed down on the postings over the last month... BUT there is an excitement level you cannot describe. For those of us who have been through the “only 2 documents left to review” days with the FSDO in NY, to the multiple slide attempts in Mich to today, we feel like we have been part of a story or at least along to a story for a good part of our lives. We have been as monetarily and emotionally vested as anyone.
So any little inkling that moves in the direction of progress is exciting. It creates the news whore effect where you want to consume every noticed change. It is like having your wife’s water break for the first time and trying to absorb every moment of the next few days of the birth of you first child even though in about 2 months, you will only remember pieces of it...or like the scene in the movie where you are alone trying to fly a kite with no wind, then the shot of the leaves blowing off the trees appears....
Som may not like it - but there is an inherent shared pride and enthusiasm. It is so tough to suppress. Whether your in the the know or not in the know, we will all remember the next few days differently but the same.
