grajekk you said last fall when you saw the cat 375 excavator w ripper bucket that that could triple production. They also added a large cat 365 ex -I dont mean today but last fall-dont know what the 2 new ex's are yet-but also added various dozers like the cat 8 and 2nd Cat 740 hauler,2nd water truck, trommel,terex etc-
so I wonder how much these will add to production. Will be interesting to see what decision is made re the fertilizer processed by the trommel-instant income by selling as is or JV onsite processing plant w OMRI as Bob emailed in March. Also be interesting to see what price iron chips sorted by trommel bring as part of DRI pellet feed stock.
Re a ship that could be convertible-carry either bulk or containers - I assume there are financial and possibly technical/ship safety reasons for not doing so-would no doubt raise cost of ship and w current glut of shipping -mostly bulk shipping-bulk Panamax shippers are already usually losing money but ship anyway -the alternative is to idle the ships and levy huge impairment costs.
