It’s funny, one of my closest friends, who is on this site, and I were in a stock contest. As a team, in one of our college classes. Whichever pair won the highest percentage return on a “portfolio” would get an extra half grade. At first we bought some traditional stocks such as jc penny. Then we changed our strategy and picked a random penny stock out of the paper and bet it all. Yes, we did win and it’s a true story. Instead of a B+ I got an A- now we are both doing it in real life. Hopefully history will repeat.
