No, that's not what I mean.
What I'm saying is that gratuitous personal insults of Senate and House leadership and members, by Trump, is counterproductive to whatever Trump wants to accomplish.
Trump is showing weakness and ignorance regarding 'deal making', supposedly from his book title his strong suit. I'm not seeing it.
As for 'deep state"? It has become a phrase used to avoid the 'heavy lifting' needed to distinguish government bureaucracy, that has always 'lived on' from one administration to another, from a an all powerful, mysterious, and of course conspiratorial, cabal.
