It's NOT impossible to assume that a transition from 8 bit to 10 bit will be another delay. If all our current videos are in 8 bit, then it will take time to produce the 10 bit version. I am hoping when DF stated we are transitioning from 8 bit to 10 bit that he means it already has started the transition from the day NTEK was quiet ( Around January 2017) and not just transitioning this October. If that is the case, don't expect anything until 2018 and shorts will drive this stock to the ground.
