Then you have the conservative approach. My self I slipped on ice and went down 5 flights of stairs head 1st and landed on my right shoulder. Oh it just a strain ... Prescribes pills for pain management. 2 weeks later not better ...more pills. Week 4 not better prescribed more pills and scheduled MRI 3 weeks out. Test came back with a massive shoulder injury. 3 more weeks waiting for surgery consult. Surgeon " I should have seen you in the 1st week". There isn't much I can do for you". Surgery less than 20% change of making better. So, I live with a 60% loss of uses of my dominate right arm, from a dumbass. Shoulder injury nailed the SSD. Nerve damage in my legs, back and arms from a work injury. The medication I had been on for 21 years the VA made a Class 2 controlled substance. Because of the opioid problem and Vet suicide rate. The VA was banned from prescribing it. So I went off the med cold turkey after taking it for 21 years. Make sense ... So rather than living at a 1-2 pain level. I get to live at a 4-5 pain level as normal. Thank you ... You white collar boardroom dumbasses.
