You'll forgive me if this post occasionally lapses into incoherent rage, but I'm writing it while listening to Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III tap-dance in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee and he just said that it was the Department of Justice's job to protect the president against "charges that it deems not to be meritorious."
