Think about it........look at my posting history.....
If I was DF I would have been posting when he was on "sabbatical".
He was not permitted internet privileges or to have anything to do with the business.
So....why am I an insider ?
Because I do DD, have an understanding of how business works and understand the logical steps many businesses take to be successful ?
Because I understand that understaffed, resource limited small businesses will sometimes stumble, miss planned goals and sometimes apply forward thinking when establishing over aggressive objectives to start with ?
Because I am forgiving of those stumbles and missteps because I still see forward progress, even when the company takes one step back to make two steps forward ?
You gain a certain insight when you've worked in companies that have made some of the exact same missteps and still end up being successful.
It doesn't make you an insider be able to sometimes anticipate what a company can and will do in some cases, or to estimate their chances of success.
It takes being able to apply logic and experience to the situation, minimize the emotional involvement, which in this case interferes with sound judgement and come up with the opinion that the company will be successful.....
