Wow- literally half of all the stock transactions over the last month have been short sales. Even going into last Friday, the short selling was 71% of the day's sales. What a huge risk these people are taking !
If Mr. Gurba comes out with the type of news investors are waiting to hear on Monday, all of these shorties will have to buy the stock back at much higher prices, but they won't be getting my shares. The increased volume will drive the price up substantially, if Gurba plays his cards right.
Now if the shorties are right, and Gurba has failed to find a buyer for the Machine Tools division, and if Gurba does not have a credible debt restructuring (preferred share A &
program in place, then shorty wins.
We find out tomorrow.
