Barracuda Devours Lionfish
I did a little bit of oceans fishing off of Key Largo for a few years on two week winter vacations to my folks who wintered there for about 6 years.. I learned that Barracuda's are Okay to eat if they are 3 pounds or less. After than they can eat bigger fish that could be poisonous, thus making them poisonous, but won't hurt them. I caught a 24 pounder. Showed it off to a local diver and he was pissed. He said we ruined natures balance on that part of ocean. Barracudas are like clean up dudes, they eat weak and dying fish.
