If they become successful enough to actually start selling their product in a big way, then, yes, they have to do a reverse split. Look at the math. To be worth $1 a share, the company would have to have a market cap of FOUR BILLION dollars. A'int happening. And, no, they will never in a century, have the type of revenue necessary to buy back over 3 billion shares of stock. A reverse split will be the only solution. I'm guessing around 1 for 100. This will bring it in line with Gerry David's other baby, Celsius, that has approximately 46 million shares outstanding.
