I got lost in Alamjobs flurry of posts, but wanted to respond to the confusion on CBD legality. Part of my business involves CBD, so I have been following closely. Think of it as a grey market. In it's own way similar to cannabis products containing THC in states that have re-legalized. The 2015 Farm bill provides a wedge of conflicting legislation that allows CBD and other cannabinoids and terpenes from certain cultivars of Industrial Hemp grown in states with established programs, which is, in fact, the species Cannabis Sativa, to be brought to market. These farms are licensed under the dept of ag of a given state and subject to their oversight and enforcement. There is also language that limits production to research, but that ship has sailed.

The Farm Bill is in conflict with the CSA of 1971, which effectively places all constituent parts of the Cannabis Sativa plant on the Schedule 1 list with Heroin.

4 companies have received cease and desist orders and CVSI, a public company, has been sued by the DOJ over it's CBD products.

The availability and amount of CBD rich Industrial Hemp that is now grown in Colorado, Kentucky, California and other states has reached an economy of scale that will be harder to reverse than it's THC containing cousin in legal states. A friend of mine will grow 1000 acres in Minnesota next year.

One supplier I work with is selling 3-4 million soft gels per month.

For me and my puny little enterprise, I am not concerned about business risk. The feds would have to take down a growing and very legitimate new industry selling a product that helps almost everyone that takes it properly. ..and that's after they go after my other business-state legal retail cannabis product manufacturing.

For a company like RMHB, it is too soon. We need the dipsh*ts in DC to actually do their jobs. Don't hold your breath until most of them get fired.
