On October 3 rd , Associa employees rallied to support more than 118 communities with NNO events across Texas as well as Indio, CA and Orlando, FL. Scattered showers caused several events in Texas to be delayed or moved indoors, but the spirit of the communities that drives National Night Out prevailed. The Associa Supports Kids lovable mascot, Scout, visited communities in Houston, San Antonio, The Woodlands, and Indio, California. Volunteers handed out kid-friendly items including Scout’s safety-tips coloring and activity booklets, bright yellow “Safe & Strong” silicon wristbands, and for parents, ChildPrint ID kits. One of the primary goals of NNO is to strengthen neighborhood spirit as well as police and community partnerships. In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, people were inspired to attend many events in the Houston area, sponsored by Associa’s Houston Community Management Services (HCMS) and Principal Management Group of North Texas (PMG) branches.
