I am not really sure why so much fuss is made over a 10-K. Given the size and scope of a 10-K it should not be at all surprising if subsequent to its filing one discovers errors, omitted information, incorrect statements, etc. etc.
For example I discovered an error, more like a typo, in the last 10-Q and management said that it would be corrected when they file the next 10-Q.
For this amendment the part that I found interesting was the reference and the need to clarify and emphasize that as a result of the trial completed in May 2016, OWCP "became the exclusive licensee of Emilia's intellectual property".
Consistent with the reasons why most amendments are filed and to ensure that they are totally compliant with regulations, I suggest that our new CFO Yossi Dagan and new Chairman Dr. Stanley Hirsch had a lot to do with "correcting" the initial 10-K. As we saw, the changes were more technical in nature and for most of us they might as well have been written in Greek! But to a CFO, after-all that is part of his job, making the necessary changes is important..even if they appear to be inconsequential to most of us.
So let's remember, a 10-K is not the appropriate way to provide updates on trials or what else the company is working on. When there is "real" news the company will let us know by way of an 8-K. Please let us remember this and, for fuck sakes, enough of this constant complaining!
