Acerta falsified data for their pancreatic cancer drug. They say it was confined to one former employee and one mouse trial. They say that other data still shows promising signs of efficacy. I sure hope that is the case, because it is utterly sickening to think of millions spent for clinical trials based on false data.

My opinion is that people who falsify data should be charged with felony fraud and get some jail time.
