That still doesnt answer the simple question of "why" though. It's indefensible regardless of what side you are on. Completely avoidable, and a fine display of their lack of caring about the imagine they put off as a public company. I have a serious issue with people being late or failing to meet a deadline. I think most business professionals do...successful ones anyway.
