I completely agree with that, although most of the individuals on this board who are invested already have jobs that pay well, so this investment is seen as a "treat" for those who want a nice car or to pay for their kid's college. Nothing wrong with that. But repurposing the profits from this and other investments toward purchasing productive assets (rental property, farm land, dividend-paying stocks, etc.) is most definitely the best decision one can make.
