Sorry but you are completely wrong here. There are many companies that have lisitngs both in the US and Canada and sell in both countries.
Here's one great example..BBRY...they list both on the TSX and the Nasdaq and they sell all over the world.
There are dozens of companies that list on both the TSX and list on either the Nasdaq proper or the OTC so I am not sure where you came up with this..??????
