"According to Electrek, the company [Tesla] has been quietly shipping hundreds of battery packs to be paired with solar panels to Puerto Rico ever since the storm cleared. Fortune reported that Tesla employees are currently on the U.S. territory installing the batteries and repairing solar systems, as well as coordinating efforts with local organizations."

*And according to other sources, Puerto Rico was already primarily reliant on alternative energy sources, so it appears that Tesla will be either tying into a patch-work of independent systems &/or going the whole 9 yards when no other options exist. Either way, good-on-them.
