While if you are talking about the stock. I made a (net profit) of $165k with what I sold in 2015 (2 years ago). But that is nothing compared to what many shareholders (myself included) will make when HJOE trades again. I certainly don't consider any of that terrible.
Now if HJOE would have continued to let the toxic lenders convert and or do more toxic financings. I can guarantee the company would have done the 200 for 1 RS that was authorized and the dilution would have forced the PPS back down again.
That generation of shareholders shares would have been pretty much worthless. There would not have been any runup in 2015 and there would not have been an opportunity then to take any profits.
Now whether or not you believe it what the company did was the only way they could protect shareholders from that other outcome.
