Gaming on Ultraflix 3.0??? Premium service now has finally arrived???
In playing with FM7's pre-loaded benchmark utility on my 4K testing rig (with overclocks on both a i7-4770K CPU and a 1080 Ti GPU), I found I could max out all the settings and jack the resolution up to "150 percent" super-sampling while still keeping my system's head above a 60Hz refresh. Yes, Turn 10 has handed in a game that is already future-proofed for 6K resolution.
Pushing super-sampling up to 200 percent—effectively 8K resolution—finally dropped my system below that comfortable 60Hz mark, running at an average of 42Hz... but again, that's with all settings maxed out, including 8x SMAA (an expensive form of anti-aliasing). Once I went back and re-enabled the game's "dynamic" optimizations, I got 8K Forza back up to somewhere right on the edge of 53Hz. That's just insane.
