DHHS Seeks Sources for Cardiology Consulting Suppo

Bethesda, Maryland, Sept. 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Institutes of Health, released on Thursday, September 28 a sources sought notice in which it invited qualified small businesses submit information about their abilities to provide cardiology consulting support services at the National Institute of Drug Abuse.
The DHHS invites interested businesses respond with the following information:
- Availability and capability (e.g., capabilities statement that includes information about services available to the government)
- What type of small business they are (if any); HUBZone; service-disabled, veteran-owned small business; 8(a) small business; veteran-owned small business; woman-owned small business; or small disadvantaged business
- Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition
- Company Name, DUNS Number, Physical Address, and Point of Contact
- Other information that may be helpful in developing or finalizing acquisition requirements
Contractors who respond to this sources sought notice must submit information in an outline format that addresses each of the elements of the project requirement and in the capability statement/information sought sections of the response.
The DHHS, in its sources sought notice, said that it will use responses to determine the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible, and to help determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the requirement.
All responses must be submitted to Contract Specialist Stacey Polk at spolk@nida.nih.gov by no later than October 5 at 11 a.m. EST.
Businesses interested in bidding on and receiving contracts from the government must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
