After it was reported that Trump is taking out his frustrations over his own failure to pass healthcare by physically mocking John McCain, veterans group VoteVets laid into Trump.
Here is the statement from VoteVets:
At the same time that Trump is wrapping the flag around himself and attacking the NFL, the President is also privately physically mocking John McCain.
The physical mocking should ring a bell with most Americans because, during the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump was accused of physically mocking a disabled reporter.
Trump is not a patriot. He is a coward who potentially colluded with a hostile foreign power to win a presidential election. No person should physically mock a vet who sacrificed their body for our nation. It is unfathomable that the Commander in Chief would mock John McCain.
The next time Trump criticizes taking a knee just remember that this is the same man who is mocking and disrespecting an American hero behind closed doors.
