Believe It Or Not, Trump Is An Even Bigger Loser Than You Thought

Trump is being described as isolated, friendless, and at war with everyone around him. The President also spends his days mocking Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Sen. John McCain.
Axios reported, “In private, President Trump has taken to physically mocking M&M: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (slumped shoulders; lethargic body language) and Sen. John McCain (imitating the thumbs-down of his historic health-care vote).”
Mocking the Senate Majority Leader who Trump needs to get any legislation passed, and a Senator who is battling brain cancer is not a winning strategy for any president.
After describing a president who is at war with virtually everyone, the article commented on Trump’s isolation, “All this has left Trump isolated inside his White House at a time when he needs muscle with the Hill and juice with the public to try to pass tax reform. With his stoking of the culture war and bombastic style amid national and global turbulence, Trump continues to make every issue about himself — at the very time that he most needs friends.”
Tax reform is already in big trouble because it isn’t one of those issues that motivates the public to demand action. Trump is only going to enrage people when they find out that his tax plan will raise their taxes by eliminating deductions that they use while cutting taxes for the wealthy and corporations. Trump’s biggest problem is his own personality and mental state.
He has taken the golden ticket of one-party control and turned into a golden shower on the heads of every Republican. If Republicans can’t pass tax cuts, they are a hopeless party who will be relegated to taking up space until Democrats take back control of the government.
A man so obsessed with winning is living the life of a loser in the White House.
