LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BLVD Centers Corporation (“ BLVD ” or the “ Company ”) (TSX-V: CXV ), a leading company in the United States addiction recovery industry, today announced it has launched a plan to develop additional, novel addiction related services for its partner operators beyond tradition therapies.
The executive team is investigating and developing ways to introduce several new modalities to the growing patient base with an eye to increase census at all of its centers. These include treatments ranging from high technology device related treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), to sourcing experts in the areas of mindfulness and meditation.
More can be found about TMS in an article written about the science of addiction at: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/20...ted-brain/
“I want our partner operators to be able to offer services on the cutting edge of addiction treatment,” said CEO, Chris Heath. “We are investigating several types of new alternative treatment protocols that are FDA approved and insurance reimbursed. With our new business model, where we leave the marketing and treatment operations to our partners, it enables our small and talented executive team to focus on, and find, new and innovative ways to treat our patients. Not only are these new modalities a possible improvement for some of our patients, they are also a key component to distinguishing BLVD as a leader in addiction treatment. We will continue to investigate ways to increase our competitive advantage in the field, and ensure our partner operators can offer the best services possible to their range of patients.”
