AlanC and sox agreed to each post once a day -- Alan posting the number, sox posting whatever he wants to say about that number.
Everyone else please stop attacking either of them. This daily FINRA number is not worth fighting about. There is some meaning to it, or it wouldn't vary from 7-88%. But no one knows exactly how to interpret it. It's harmless entertainment for some of us so let it go.
Two posters of good will can disagree about something. But, when I see other people coming in and tossing hand grenades to try to generate divisive controversy, then it greatly increases my suspicion of the motives of the hand-grenade-throwers.
