Columbus, GA, Sept. 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As we enter the fourth quarter of 2017, Steven Cody and the Envision Retail Services team reflects on their epic year and their successful first three quarters. Mr. Cody credits their local and national success to “nurturing our community, our team, and ourselves.”
On a community level, the Envision Retail Services team has focused their efforts on nurturing their adopted home of Columbus, GA. In 2017, Envision Retail Services has partnered with various charities, including local chapters for cancer awareness and local humane societies, like Paws Humane. Envision has partnered with PAWS several times throughout the year, helping care for the shelter itself, as well as providing emotional and physical support to the dogs and cats being sheltered by this growing organization. This past May, the Envision Retail Services team also helped support the local House of Heroes chapter. This amazing organization helps give back to those who have served our wonderful country. The team joined together to honor a local veteran by helping repair his family’s home in Columbus.
As has become tradition, Envision plans to support several local charities throughout the holiday season. The team has committed to supporting their local university, Columbus State, for their annual Trunk or Treat festival this October. Following that, Envision will join the Church of the Highlands for their annual Thanksgiving food drive. As the year wraps up, Envision will renewits annual partnership with the Toys for Tots Foundation to provide toys for children during the holiday season.
ERS and Steven Cody continue to put their energy not only into nurturing their surrounding community, but also into cultivating their team and its members. By allowing account managers to choose which charities they support, Envision makes space for deeper team dialogue. A perfect example of this is their recent partnership with United Cheerleading. Jamaal, one of Envision Retail Services’ account managers, brought the opportunity to support a local cheerleader to the brainstorming meeting. This new partnership gave Envision Retail the opportunity to both help a local organization, as well as help part of our team by supporting Jamaal’s daughter! Being able to have open communication about what drives their team, cultivates a community of trust, one in which team members can discuss their own goals and personal priorities as well.
In addition, each account manager works directly with their chosen organizations to coordinate the logistics of the donation. This experience, complimented by Envision Retail Services’ management training program, enhances team members’ direct management experience, organizational skills, and communication skills--all easily transferrable assets. Experience gained through opportunities like these help develop the Envision Retail Services team members into thriving branch managers. This is well-illustrated by team member Djori Johnson. Djori is the most recent product of Envision’s award-winning management training program and career development. Djori is using his background in sports--combined with the communication, leadership and organizational skills he learned in Columbus--to spearhead the Melbourne, Florida expansion!
Sparked by owner Steven Cody’s enthusiasm for cultivating his team members, Envision continues to make headway on their current expansion plans. We can only expect to see remarkable results from this growing marketing giant!
