I've previously heard that bashers are paid and the more action they get from their posts, the more they earn. I don't know this is true, but when I take them on, I try to do so by denying what they've said in numerous posts with a single post.

While I believe some bashers are short themself, I gather that many do it as an occupation and they're willing to bash anything they are paid to. I really have no idea where they're to be found, but suspect many are outside the U.S.
