I don't think he is actually hiding. I think he may have come to realize that the shareholders are pissed off enough that they will continue to take action knowing now who he works for. I also expect the company to take action at some point but I guess you could always represent himself somewhat, not that that would do any good. His boss may also have stepped in and gave him a what for after being contacted by some of us shareholders.
And also now that lost in the flood has been identified, I think he may not want a bunch of calls at his workplace. The doctors receptionist may get a little tired of answering our phone calls and question his integrity.
