Just for those who don't know (most are smart here so this is directed at scrub hub readers so pay attention). Dates set for most type of closing transactions are always placeholders for on our about that date. Two out of Three closing dates I've had in my real estate transactions were always set as 1st, 15th or 30th of the month WITHOUT my attorney looking at what day of the week it is. My attorney isn't cheap and top of his class, but they don't look at the calendar....they go with 1, 15 and 30 because it's in their templates. My last one was set for a Sunday and YOU CAN CLOSE on that Sunday, less bank transactions which clear next day unless any liens, balances need bank verification for pay offs but most are done already. We did one on a Friday before the date and one a Tuesday after the date. don't listen to the chumps trying to muddy the water about the dates.
